How do you choreograph a dance? how does something that starts from nothing, become a dance that people will pay money and take time to see? and expect to be moved by, or touched? people experience so many things in a life, or even in a day. how does one create an experience that people will remember and not throw away? for one moment i just want to create something that will take them somewhere else, lift them, let them come out of that theatre with something they can hold on to and enjoy in their hearts for, hopefully, the rest of their lives. How do i choreograph a dance?

As of late i've come to the realization that i've changed a great deal over the last semester. Due to certain various traumatic events happening in my life during that time, and one final experience during winter break that put many things into percpective. Many of my beliefs and ideals were challanged and even at points broken. This then led to me doing some things that i regret. It's hard when alot of what you invested your hope into is suddenly shattered and your plans for the future are completely devestated. Some how during this crap storm i was able to make some decisions that were right, and recently i've come to see just how right those decisions were. It was hard making the right decision but i am truely glad that i did, and that God was the one pointing to that decision. Because of the justification of my choices and getting through the certain events that i experienced over the past couple months i feel very diffrent. Hopefully the change in me has bettered me and not turned me into an asshole. Whatever the case i have learned a great deal, and am happy with the simplicity of my life now after all thats happened. I just hope i don't loose sight of that.

Love God, Love people, Love dance.

I'm reminded often of times when things were much easier, when living a life was simple, when it was just about me. But now i know that life is more then living for oneself, there are others in the world that i have a responsibility to. At this point i only have three things i want be a good person, a great dancer, and above that a great man. Great men always take the high road, make the harder choice, do the right thing. I've made my fair share of mistakes, and have plenty of character flaws. But these are flaws that i want to overcome, that i'm not willing to live with, that i believe can be overcome. It's a myth that people have to accept their short comings as a person. I believe people have the choice to be an asshole or a good person, that it's not just the way some people are. I want to be a best type of person, the dopest type of dancer, and the greatest type of man.

These are my thoughts and belated New Years resolution.

I  just got back from the missions trip to scottland. it was the most incredible trip i've ever been on. there was just so much of God moving with all of us on the trip. there are so many highlights that i couldn't possible write them all out. but i'll make a more serious post about it some other time with pictures and stuff. but i just met so many cool people on the trip and saw so many seeds planted and so many people's lives changed that i can't even put into words how excited i am. it's good to be back here although i wish i could've stayed just a little bit longer to build even more with the people i met there. One of the coolest highlights from the trip was this 16 year old skate boarder kid who's name was Matt, he straight up 360'd over my headstand on his board. i got the footage to prove it!!! so awsome! anyways the trip was awsome, stoked to be back here, met some of the coolest people in the world on the trip. Had loads of fun, got loads of work done, i'm changed forever (in a good way), but yeah such an awsome time. i'll be back with some pics. peace.
